Autopsy of an Angel

Agatha Beatrize

It was around 10:23 pm
and I swear when you looked at me in the eye
there was a slicing

In this measly curved cone
coiled digestive serpent
enzymes-kissed and whatnot
with a 90° angle that I
did not ask for

The slicing I didn’t mind
for it wasn’t my heart soft reverence
you whispered “beautiful”
