Jigeesha Mukhopadhyay

Picture
‘Pickles+Science’, a handmade clothes destination in the Exchange District of Winnipeg ... it is quite a big ‘dill’ for Nuit Blanche”

Jigeesha Mukhopadhyay is a PhD student in Canada, working on fungal genetics. She has recently taken up analog film photography and likes going on photowalks and capturing the city at night. Being a scientist who often daydreams in the lab and scribbles haikus on her lab notebook, scientific jargon inevitably seeps into her writing. Jigeesha is also  the co-founder of science blogs such as InquiScitive and microblogs and has her creative pieces published in several litmags like The Expressionist, The Afterpast Review, DreamGlow to name a few.
