Ridden Hard and Put Up Wet

Gerry Fabian

No curry brush and water tonight.
The leftovers in the fridge
are like some form of green bacteria.
The windows need to be opened -
immediately
The current air quality is a choking mephitis.
There are still scattered strands of your hair
embedded in the broken couch.
They will have to do.

R. Gerry Fabian is a published writer and poet from Doylestown, PA. He has published five books of poetry: Parallels, Coming Out Of The Atlantic, Electronic Forecasts, Wildflower Women, Pilfered Circadian Rhythm as well as his poetry baseball book, Ball On The Mound.
